Valve Boxes

Valve boxes keep the guts of your irrigation control-the valves, regulators, and sometimes wires-out of harm's way while still easy to reach. Instead of digging through mud every time you need to service a valve, you flip a lid and everything is right there, protected from mowers, tractors, and sun. We choose box sizes and lid strengths based on traffic; areas crossed by equipment get heavier lids, while lighter boxes work in quieter corners. Properly installed, they sit flush with grade and drain well so you're not scooping water every time you open one. When we lay out a system, we group compatible valves in boxes so maintenance is simpler and mapping stays clear. Good valve boxes might not be the first thing you think about, but they save a lot of frustration over the life of the system.
